Citizens Advice (previously Citizens Advice Bureau and also known as Cyngor ar Bopeth in Welsh) is a network of 316 independent charities throughout the United Kingdom that give free, confidential information and advice to assist people with money, legal, consumer and other problems.
By listening and asking open questions, the Samaritans volunteers help people explore their feelings and work out their own way forward. Samaritans do not denounce suicide, and it is not necessary to be suicidal to contact Samaritans.

Counselling Directory provides a wide range of counsellors who will use psychotherapy to help clients develop understanding and insight into their behaviours/feelings, with the aim of overcoming difficulties. In some cases the simple act of talking through difficulties with a counsellor can help the client, in other cases a more tailored therapy approach is required.
